Police summons Chief Administrative Officer Amolatar

Amolatar District Chief Administrative Officer, Paul Mpiiwa was summoned at Amolatar Central Police Station over allegations of abuse of office and misuse of Public Funds.

According to DPC SP Katumba Christopher he recorded a statement to help police with the investigation over the allegations.

 He was later released but investigation continues.

In reference to the planned peaceful demonstration by the disgruntled community members over the mismanagement of the public funds by top district officials, DPC Katumba, asserts that police will only allow the plan slated for Wednesday 3rd July 2024 arguing it's a constitutional right.

 Meanwhile Felix Adupa Ongwech, the president of Transformers Cadres Association says that the demonstration is to highlight the public on the grievances over the suspected abuse of office and public funds by some District officials of Amolatar
